Amazing company in La Mirada is looking for a dynamic Accounting Manager to join their team. The Accounting Manager is responsible for establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems. This position ensures legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions and oversees all financial functions including ERP management, accounting, budget, credit, insurance, and taxes. This position will rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Responsibilities
o Establishes, monitors and enforces accounting principles, practices, procedures and initiatives.
o Protects assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls.
o Complete oversight and management of Departments identified and the related tasks that include:
o Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable, collections, corporate tax payments, credit management
o Manages budgets and controls expenses effectively
o Oversee the preparation of internal financial statements and annual reporting; review account analysis and reconciliations, General Ledger and related accounting
o Conducts and/or arranges for audits as required and appropriate
o Supply Chain and inventory management including purchasing, tracking and forecasting
o Warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, repairs
o Risk Management / Liability Insurance Management (G/L, Umbrella, Auto, EPLI,)
o Records maintenance
o FDA inspections, CARB and OSHA labeling responsibilities
o Management of ERP and development and maintenance of associated workflows
o Oversee vendor contractors, including negotiations
o Provides status of the financial condition of the company by collecting, interpreting and reporting key financial data and appropriate recommendations to CEO
o Ensures compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports. Advises CEO of actions and potential risks.
o Oversee Team Leaders and Team Members by coaching, training, problem-solving, professional development, appropriate corrective action, timely performance reviews
o Identify and recommend productivity, customer service and process enhancements
o Keeps up to date on information, emerging technology and strategy skills to increase innovation, organize, automate and synchronize various aspects of area of responsibility
o Establishes and approves policies and procedures, internal financial controls and other related documentation as needed
o Identify, institute and manage reporting and metrics for key measurements in assigned Departments
o Additional projects as assigned

May be required to attend and participate in professional development activities both in and outside the company to stay abreast of new developments and best practices.

Qualifications
o Bachelor's Degree in a business, financial or related field or the equivalent of fifteen years relevant experience; Master's degree a plus
o 10
years of practical experience in Finance or Accounting in a senior level position
o 5
years management and leadership experience
o Outstanding written and oral communication skills
o MS Office capable (Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel)
o Knowledge of ERP Systems (NetSuite a plus)
o Membership in a related professional organization a plus
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
