Executive Assistant
Career Connections is looking for an Executive Assistant for a high-profile academic office located in Athens, Ohio. Employee will be responsible for providing support to high-level position holders within the department. Day-to-day activities could include: material preparation; travel reservations and appointments; scheduling appointments and coordinating several calendars; and special project assistance as needed.
This is a temporary, full-time job opportunity starting on Monday, March 30, to assist in a medical leave coverage and lasting three to four months (approximately mid-July). The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The pay rate will be $16 per hour.
To qualify for this position, candidates must have a bachelor's degree and previous experience in an office setting. Must possess the following skills:
- detail oriented and very organized
- expert-level knowledge of MS Word and Excel, and familiar with MS Outlook
- strong understanding of confidentiality
- ability to multi-task and prioritize
- excellent customer service skills
- technology savvy
- ability to exceed in a team atmosphere
