This first-level managerial position oversees the Analyst/Administration Unit and provides direction and supervision to staff directly responsible for all the application development including maintenance, break/fix and enhancement projects for the Civil Service and DTMB systems. The primary users of these applications supported by this unit are state and public school employees, state police and judges. The primary application used is Clarety it includes the following business functions: call center, employee reporting and payroll processing. The unit staff includes both State employees and contractual staff. This position performs a range of professional and managerial tasks necessary to develop and support the required applications such as: providing supervision and guidance to unit members, assisting in development of staff, providing ongoing support to develop and implement projects proposals; prioritizing department-wide development projects, and providing and monitoring staff and contracted resource allocation. Establishing and maintaining a healthy relationship with the client and other internal partners within DTMB is critical.
Required Education and
Experience:
Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree with not less than 21 semester (32 term) credits in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, or mathematics.
Experience
Four years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12.
Alternate Education and
Experience:
Four years of experience as a computer programming supervisor or Information Technology Supervisor may be substituted for the education and experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
