Air & Ocean Specialist (Port Huron)
Custom Brokerage in search of an experienced Air & Ocean Specialist.
The right candidate will coordinate the handling of documentation and advances for clearance, ensure timely delivery of freight after clearance, monitoring and control of all entry/entry summary preparation to ensure shipments are entered in accordance with the US Federal Code of Regulations.
Qualifications/Skills Requirement :
? Two years (2) of relevant work experience
? Strong Leadership skills
? Strong communication skills
? Organizational and decision making skills
? Self Motivated
? Excellent problem solving skills
Responsibilities
? Responsible for all Import of Air & Ocean shipments
? Work with forwarders on daily basis
? Liaise with Freight Department
? Ensure POD is supplied
? Expediting and tracing as required
? Liaise with customers
? Determination of Profit levels and billing
? Process required customs documentation
? Assist in development, implementation and maintenance of department processes
? Develop, implement and maintain department processes
? Develop customer relations
? Support as required in all Departmental Operations
Must have your own transportation, be able to pass a drug screen and submit to a criminal background check.
Hourly rate determined by skills and experience. Hourly Rate Range: $14/hr -$17/hr
