Golf Sales Leader - Retail

Responsible for driving sales, directing the workflow and overseeing the Company merchandise and signage programs in the Golf Department ensuring that Company standards are met. This includes providing excellent customer service, maintaining Company merchandising standards, and safeguarding Company assets as dictated by Company policies and procedures.
Duties:
Supports Company standards of selling and customer service by providing a friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every customer and maintaining solid product knowledge
Assist in training all Golf associates in Company procedures and programs, including training new associates and cross training other associates
Assist in communicating all Company information to Golf associates regarding special promotions and Company programs.
Assist with scheduling associates, directing work assignments, and controlling department costs to ensure Department, Store and customer requirements are met
Assist the store management team in achieving or maintaining a shrink level of equal to or less than the goal set by the Corporate Loss Prevention Department by maintaining Company loss prevention standards and controls in the Golf Department
Assist the store management team with general supervision in the store in accordance with Company policies and procedures including opening and closing the store and Front End Coverage as assigned.
Responsible for implementation of merchandise presentation standards and signage of Golf Department to meet Company standards and to maximize profits.
