Job Title:Loan Officer III, IV, V
Location: Wasilla, AK
Status: Loan Officer- Exempt
Job Duties & Functions:
This position will be assigned to a Loan Unit Manager and assist with the management and development of an assigned loan portfolio in areas of consumer /small business, commercial real estate, or construction loans. The duties will include business development, loan interviews, cash flow, credit analysis, preparation of loan requests for approval within bank guidelines and lending limits while ensuring proper loan documentation. This position will also monitor performance of loans extended to existing borrowers and their ability to repay, collect delinquencies and restructure loans as necessary.
Additionally, this position will actively call on new and prospective bank loan clients and make referrals to other areas of the bank for deposit and non-deposit products and services and for building long-term profitable customer relationships. In addition, this position will participate in CRA activities within the lending area, complete research, projects, reports and/or tasks to experience all aspects of the lending profession.

Qualifications:
Loan Officer III: requires a high school diploma or GED and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Three years of progressively responsible work experience in a financial institution to include one year of direct lending experience required. Small business lending experience preferred. Additional higher education may be considered as equivalent work experience.
Loan Officer IV: requires a high school diploma or GED and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Four years of progressively responsible work experience in a financial institution to include two years of direct commercial, commercial real estate or construction lending experience required. Experience in credit administration and collections preferred. Sales/account management experience required. Additional higher education may be considered as equivalent work experience. Loan Officer V: requires a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. Five years of progressively responsible work experience in a financial institution to include three years of direct commercial, commercial real estate or construction lending experience required. Experience in credit administration and collections required. Sales/account management experience required. Additional higher education may be considered as equivalent work experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
