Seeking a candidate who can develop, improve, and troubleshoot manufacturing and machining processes for diamond machined optical components.
Shall:
Implement manufacturing process plans for optics component manufacturing.
Create the design process of tooling and fixtures used on diamond turning centers or similar CNC surface polishing equipment.
Collect and analyze data using statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
Improve on existing manufacturing processes for enhanced yield, cycle time, and quality.
Must have:
Must have a minimum of 3 years working as a process engineer, manufacturing engineer, tooling engineer or quality engineer in a CNC machine shop.
Experience in optical components development.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP system.
