Assembler-Production Line Worker

Primary responsibilities include picking components from stock location, prepping drive (loading software, adding flange kits, etc.
) assembly (including wiring) within the Drives business area along with flexing into any other production functions as needed.
Drives assembly includes:
o Use of hand tools, torque drivers, pneumatic tools.
o Read and interpret schematics, drawings and bills of material.
o Handling, lifting, moving material/inventory from stock location to assembly.
o Provide material handling for work team, on a rotating or as-needed basis o Maintain and support a safe, clean work environment o May be asked to perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
o Print production packets - work on computer (basic) Walking / Standing:
o Approximately six to eight hours per day.
Lifting / Carrying:
o Duration is frequent throughout the day; up-to 25-lbs.
o Lifting of 26 to 35 pounds is required infrequently.
o Lifting of 35 to 50 pounds is required occasionally.
Upper Extremity:
o Lifting of parts and boxes of product (up to 50 lbs.
) o Duration is frequent throughout the day o Air drivers (hanging from ceiling) are used frequently throughout assembly processes.
o Twisting and bending motion is frequent.
Hands:
o Lifting of material o Grasping of product during assembly o Squeezing of air tools while applying pressure.
o Continuous hand, arm, and shoulder movement o Finger dexterity is required during assembly operation o Duration is frequent throughout the day PPE Required:
o Safety glasses must be worn o Safety shoes are required at all times.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
