Transportation Account Manager

We provide asset based transportation, non-asset brokerage services, dedicated contract solutions, light manufacturing, warehouse management & distribution, and transportation management services (TMS). As a company we have built our reputation on providing best-in-class services for more than 30 years. We are currently looking for a Transportation Account Manager for our Transportation Management Systems (TMS) group.

Responsibilities:
Relationship management of contract transportation customers
Owns tactical metrics development/achievement
Primary conduit between the customer and operational departments
Owns existing customer contracts, renewals and expansion opportunities
Works with sales / solutions to gather requirements and establish/maintain scope of contract(s)
Develop seamless solutions to maximize customer satisfaction while reducing cost and increasing revenue (CI)
Manages customer account budgets and P&L's
Provide leadership/direction for assigned contract transportation customer's implementations
Demonstrated management and leadership experience
Maintains effective working relationships with peer departments, service providers and customers

Qualifications:
BS in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Technology, Engineering or other related field required
Minimum 4 years logistics experience---prefer TMS experience
Strong problem solving, sound judgment and good decision making ability
Demonstrated management and leadership experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Team oriented with capability to work in a matrix reporting relationship
Ability to travel 25 to 50% of the time, if needed / required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
