Senior Associate Scientist - In Vivo Cancer Pharmacology -Cheshire, CT
Support in vivo group efforts in the characterization and development of small and large molecules for the treatment of cancer by designing, executing and interpreting in vivo studies.
Activities:
In vivo model development.
Target inhibition.
Efficacy studies.
Mechanism of action discovery.
Pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamics and biomarker studies.
Dose, schedule and therapeutic combinations analysis in various cancer models.
Requires hands-on experience with tumor implantation and dosing, proper handling of chemotherapeutics, tumor measurement, health monitoring, and data collection and analysis, as well as, ex vivo analysis of tumor cells or immune cells by FACS, IHC and ELISA.
Requirements:
Master OR Doctoral degree and 3
years of relevant drug discovery experience involving in vivo pharmacology cancer models including xenografts.
Demonstrated strong skills in tumor implantation techniques and dosing, proper handling of therapeutics, tumor measurement, health monitoring, and data collection and analysis.
