Business Development Coordinator

The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for building and sustaining relationships between our practice and our referring physician client base. In an increasingly competitive environment, marketing our specialized services are a key to the continued growth and vitality of the practice
This role is structured to maximize direct one-to-one communication and face time with referring physician - - primarily including office visits, telephone calls, managing accounts, executing growth strategies, event planning, gathering feedback and providing information useful to our growth and development. The responsibilities will include customer service support and follow-up, while primarily building and maintaining a referral base for the Office
Experience and Education

A degree in Marketing a plus
1 to 3 years successful sales experience preferred
Ability to represent yourself and our practice with credibility through professional, consistent interaction
Strong communication, time management and interpersonal skills
Confidence to discuss medical technology with medical professionals (training will be provided)
Experience in services sales or marketing (health services/medical sales a plus)
Ability to forecast and achieve budgeted volumes, growth, and revenues
Experience making a minimum of 8 - 10 sales visits per day
Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook (Powerpoint a plus)

Responsibilities Include:
Contacts prospect for new referral sources by cold calling, telemarketing, mailing, luncheons and attending meeting on a frequency in accordance with sales call quotas.
Introduces and develops existing referral sources.
Coordinates visits for new and existing referring providers at locations with staff and physicians.
May identify and assist in the development of new affiliate and satellite sites or other alternative channels of distribution
Serves as the voice of the medical community to initiate, in conjunction with appropriate managers, operations-based changes in our services (including customer service) to better serve our patients.
Identifies appropriate advertising, traditional and new (internet) media and public relations opportunities within assigned territory
Participates as a member in at least one health care community-based organization
Represents practice at appropriate business-generating events, trade shows, community functions and patient education/outreach events
Identifies business opportunities in the local region
Submits monthly marketing results to management for review and approval
Maintains up-to-date database of referring providers including number of patient referrals
Assists in marketing updates to staff and physician to determine positive opportunities
Contribute to team effort by maintaining an excellent rapport and working relationship between front office staff, manager and results in the field.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
