Project Engineer - Corn Milling

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for the planning, organizing, and execution of plant projects to align with operations and rapid growth. Performing duties as directed by the Operations Manager to ensure the following responsibilities are managed competently:
Plant Project Management
Develop project scope and equipment requirements with plant operations team and administration
Develop budgets and assist in project studies to insure project economic viability
Design and engineer all project requirements working with vendors/contractors to complete a cost effective design.
Develop project timelines and manage project within those set parameters
Order equipment and ensure timely deliveries
Help with plant software automation issues to insure trouble-free start-up
Regulatory Design Management
Assure that all air quality, chemical and water regulatory compliance is in order with necessary agencies.
Assure all OSHA requirements and training procedures are followed properly in regards to engineering projects.
Assure all Local, State and Federal permitting and compliance requirements are met.
Ensure all regulatory compliance.
General Responsibilities
Follow established Human Resources procedures
Strict adherence to area SOP's.
Utilize the Integrated Management System
Essential Skills
This position actively engages in daily operations and is engaged in cross-functional management teams to develop and support policies and procedures in accordance with the company's Vision, Values and Strategic Objectives. Proven experience with project, regulatory and health safety management is critical to this position. In addition, good oral and written communication skills, computer literacy, strong leadership skills, organizational skills and the ability to effectively work with and direct a team environment are critical. Education Level: Bachelor's Degree, (Engineering)
Related
Experience:
5 years Project Management, Food Processing or Grain Milling experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Hands on engagement of projects, automation, and facility breakdowns through historical experiences; deep knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures to handle complex tasks; and proven engineering solutions to operations.
Physical and Mental Requirements
This position requires physical and mental alertness, attentiveness and stamina for the length of an entire 8-12 hour work shift each day. Occasional to frequent lifting of 50-100 pounds, frequent changing from a seated to standing position and occasional to frequent stair climbing are all physical demands of this position. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
