IT Network Specialist

One year contract opportunity in Parkersburg, WV
Pay rate $33.00/hour

The primary focus of this position is to maintain the networking environments at a large manufacturing facility. This includes designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing of network infrastructure. The position will be working as part of an End to End team delivering services and projects to ensure Networks and IT systems reliably support critical business functions.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and support networks (switching and routing) in campus environment utilizing Cisco services and solutions
Manage and Support Local Area Networking and Wireless Networking in manufacturing environment
Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers and outside vendors to provide technical assistance and support
Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware to resolve operational issues and restore services.
Any other duties as assigned by management

JOB
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT or Equivalent Experience
Experience with Network Support (Local and Wide Area Networks)
Experience with Wireless Network Administration (RF, UAP, and Devices)
IT technical/functional experience (5
years)
Current CCNA certification or equivalent experience
Knowledge of VoIP implementation and support
Maintain network security through proper configuration of VPN and Firewalls
Windows Server 2003 & 2008 experience a plus
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a small business environment
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
