QUALITY ADMINISTRATOR
The Quality / Engineering Administrator documents technical information pertaining to hardware and processes. They convey this documentation to Quality, Engineering, the hourly workforce, or the customers, as authorized, taking into consideration the bill of material, product drawing, and customers' specifications and quality system.
Create required Quality Plans in our system, which outline all characteristics requiring inspection , when receive inspection is being performed on purchased parts, as delegated by the Quality Manager, Quality Engineer or Engineering.

Balloon incoming customer blueprints/drawings and internally generated drawings, including outside service drawings/sketches which are used for quoting and the production of vendor manufactured details or services. Create Master Characteristic Control Sheets (MCCS's) and applicable AS9102 documents associated with the ballooned drawing.
Generate all required MRB concessions/case records and product repairs for customer submittal and monitor status through disposition as delegated by the Quality Manager, Quality Engineer or Engineering.
Extract from our system, organize, and draft all information pertaining to VSE and first article submittals and monitor status through approval as delegated by the Quality Manager, Quality Engineer or Engineering.
Generate and approve all Certificates of Conformance (C of C's) in support of the daily shipment lists.
With the proper oversight and delegated responsibility, disposition product NMRs and vendor SCAR's as PRB Authorized.
Perform all assigned Workstation Audits in accordance with the published schedules.
Recommend safety & ergonomic improvements in material handling devices, manufacturing tools, and workstations to accommodate best practices for shop floor personnel.
Support any required statistical analysis to validate processes and documented inspection results on assigned products as delegated by the Quality Manager.
Perform duties/responsibilities related to this position as assigned by the Quality Manager.

Requires independent judgment in making decisions that have economic impact to the company.
Capable to efficiently support all customer portals/systems as delegated by the Quality Manager.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
B.S. in a Administrative field or a minimum of five (5) years experience in a related field. Must have, or be capable of obtaining, a thorough knowledge of basic shop mathematics. Must be cognizant of all company processes, such as sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding, inspection methods, and special processes including plasma coatings, laser drilling, and airflow measurement. Must be proficient using Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).



INSPECTORS-To inspect and document as required, first article, receiving, in-process, and finished production/prototype assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to the quality assurance standards. This individual has the responsibility and authority to carryout assigned tasks.
Able to apply knowledge of machine shop practice/procedures
Understand the basic concepts to lay out hardware to exacting tolerances and be capable of performing 100% dimensional inspection and measure dimensions such as angles, arcs, and radii of complex components and sub-assemblies.
Verify inspection equipment, machinery, and tools used are calibrated per company procedures.
Capable of locating datums and other gaging points on castings, forgings and all components.
Capable of marking guide lines and reference points used to indicate material which will be removed manually, by machining, or etching processes.
Accurately complete all quality documentation, such as inspection record sheets, quality plans and receiving inspection documents.
Initiate NMR documentation when parts are nonconforming per the Quality system.
Must have full working knowledge in the use of inspection tools and gages, such as scribes, vernier calipers, height gages, depth gages, micrometers, cylindrical plugs and thread gages, periphery or PI tapes, decimal scales, indicators, inspection fixtures, optical comparator, coordinate measuring machine and other manual/automated measuring devices.
Perform in-process and machine inspection on such equipment as vertical boring mills, radial drills, laser machines, water jet and lathes.
Perform bench dimensional inspection of machined rings, spinning, forgings, castings, sub-assemblies and assemblies.
Perform visual and dimensional inspection of welds prior to fluorescent penetrant testing,
Setup and try out inspection equipment to ensure accuracy.
Perform hardness checks of workpiece surfaces.
The ability to be responsible for assigned tasks and the authority to perform them.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Employee must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 - 4 years of documented, related experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment. Basic computer skills are required. Knowledgeable in the use of V blocks, jo-blocks, knees, planer and thread gages.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
