Main Street Renewal LLC is looking for a dynamic Leasing Manager to join our team in Palm Bay, FL!!.

single family properties and converting them to leasable homes.
We improve each property and as a result will expand the supply of well-maintained and affordable housing units in a number of cities around the country.
In the process, we will provide an attractive market clearing bid for sellers and by making a long term investment, increase value for other home owners, helping to stabilize and improve the surrounding neighborhoods while expanding the tax base.
We strive to create efficiency throughout the process with the goal of creating constructive and professional relationships with owners of single family real estate, our tenants and the communities where the properties are located.
The Leasing Manager is responsible for ensuring all marketing, screening an leasing processes are done in compliance with all local, state and federal laws as well with the MS Renewal Best Practices.
The Leasing Manager reports directly to the Branch Manager.
Responsibilities:
Manage the daily leasing reports to ensure Leading Certifications are being completed timely by the Leasing Agents Train Leasing Agents to ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws, as well as MS Renewal Best Practices Escalation point for all leasing issues that cannot be handled by the Leasing Agents Walk properties to certify repairs have been completed to MS Renewal standards and certification that properties are in rent-ready condition.
Perform same duties, as necessary, that are expected of Leasing Agents; Walk properties to certify repairs have been completed to MS Renewal standards and certification that properties are in rent-ready condition Create Marketing materials Gather all necessary documentation, as outlined in our Best Practices Manual, to screen prospects in RealPage as well as verification of employment and rent Work with approved applicants to prepare the state approved lease and applicable addendum Update PropertyWare with all required information including uploading all documentation as outlined in the Best Practices Manual Work with Section 8 as applicable Conduct property showings Perform move in and move out inspections Collect past due rents owed by delinquent tenant Requirements:
Must be a Licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Florida Bachelor's degree (B.
A.
) preferred or a minimum of 3-5 years in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Excellent organizational skills required Must possess strong leadership and communication skills Must have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence Must have the ability to speak effectively to customers and employees MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe knowledge required Experience using related Property Management software Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment as well as in the field at Main Street Renewal properties.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is a sedentary role; however, some filing is required as well as travel to and frequent walking of Main Street properties.
This role requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, bend or stand on a stool as necessary, frequent walking and climbing of stairs required.
Travel:
Travel will be required within the metro area to Main Street Renewal properties.
