This company, one of the nation's largest produce wholesalers, is seeking professional CDL-A truck drivers for single layover routes out of its Pennsylvania terminal. Family owned and operated for over 35 years, this company continuously strives to provide the best atmosphere and most up-to-date equipment for its drivers. This company is committed to hiring the most exceptional drivers.
Overview
Drivers deliver refrigerated produce to warehouses and retail customers throughout the New England, PA, NY, and parts of OH and VA. Produce is pre-loaded prior to dispatch. Drivers unload produce at locations via electric pallet jack, handcart or liftgate. Drivers average 3 runs per week. Drivers are home every other day. Drivers will interact with customers often and are considered the face of the company; therefore, drivers need to be professional and customer friendly. Paid training. Drivers are assigned dedicated sleepers with APUs.
Compensation
$0.455-$0.475 per mile to start depending on experience
$1,400 per week average
$15 per Diem for each night sleeping in the truck
