Kitchen Designer

We have an immediate opening for the following position in our Santa Rosa location:
Kitchen Designer
Must be available for Monday-Sunday retail scheduling, special projects and covering other shifts when necessary.
Duties include but are not limited to:
EUR Responsible for direct customer interaction with kitchen and bath design and sales.
EUR Prioritize and handle multiple projects at a time
EUR Provide Legendary customer service and superior follow through in a fast paced environment
EUR Determine scope of services required for customers' projects and manage all aspects of project from initial contact through project completion, including: identifying customers' goals and expectations; developing designs; generating construction drawings and creating specifications; obtaining pricing and producing quotes; placing and monitoring orders; overseeing delivery and installation and addressing after sale customer service issues
EUR Schedule design center appointments, conduct site visits, take field measurements and maintain paper and digital customer files for all projects
EUR Keep current on products offered in our design center as well as industry trends
Preferred
Experience:
EUR Proficient in 20-20 Design with the ability to develop cabinet layouts, floor plans, elevations, and perspectives including installation notes and details
EUR Thorough knowledge of kitchen and bath design and construction as well as associated products, including: cabinetry; counter tops; tile & stone; appliances; faucets & fixtures; hardware & accessories; and lighting
EUR A degree in a related field with minimum 3 years previous sales and design experience in a fast paced customer focused retail setting with responsibility for direct customer interaction in kitchen and bath sales and design or related field environment
EUR Submission of design portfolio demonstrating design abilities and 20-20 skills
EUR Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
