Software Development Coordinator

THE COMPANY
Alvarado is a 58 year old company. Our growing sports & entertainment division uses our core platform software products, GateLink10 and VenueView360, to provide gate control, loyalty and membership solutions to professional sports teams, facilities and destination venues.
JOB SUMMARY
The Software Development Coordinator will work closely with Alvarado's software development teams, and interface with key Alvarado clients. The Software Development Coordinator is responsible for communicating functionality requirements to the development team, and coordinating the development of interfaces to third-party systems. The person chosen for this position will help guide our development teams on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of Alvarado systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Become highly proficient in all aspects of Alvarado software
- Coordinate software development, deployment and support for our enterprise loyalty platform and over time take similar responsibilities for other products
- Use project management, intergroup communication, planning and assessment skills to help deliver high quality software
- Help to define high level development objectives
- Track/measure performance of development and QA testing efforts
- Coordinate development, testing and deployment for third-party integrations and implementations
- Serve as a primary technical and/or support contact for certain key accounts
- Function as a technical resource for other team members
REQUIREMENTS
- BS/MS in computer science, engineering, MIS or equivalent experience
- Combination of education/experience building complex web based applications
- Experience with Microsoft technologies including MS SQL Server and .Net
- Working knowledge of networks and web services/API's for third-party systems
- Experience working with development or implementation teams
- Knowledge and experience with software development methodologies and best practices
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to comprehend detailed technical documents
- Ability to exercise good judgment, prioritize and solve problems under tight deadlines and resource constraints

This opportunity will be based in our Chino, CA office and offers technical and professional growth opportunities. Some travel will be required.
