Technician- Extrusion

POSITION QUALIFICATION (S):
Technician(s) must have the minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and/or two (2) years job experience. The Technician(s) shall communicate effectively with all levels of personnel both in writing and verbally.

POSITION DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:

o Instruct Operators in preparation for changeovers/setups and startups.
o Perform all startups, setups and changeovers with the assistance of the Operators.
o Work from Sales Orders (Shop Orders = SO) and verbal instructions from the Supervisor. Ensure and/or verify correct footage, width, gauge, core type and size, film type are being run according to the SO. Set and/or adjust heat pattern according to the product being run. Verify all required adjustments made by Operators during a run to maintain Specifications and Quality.
o Maintain records, reports and/or forms as necessary or directed by the Supervisor.
o Assure Operators perform assignments in conformance with health and safety requirements.
o Verify all required Quality checks performed and recorded by the Operators are within specifications.
o Monitor all operations to assure continuity of Quality, Production with minimum downtime
o Assist Supervisor in planning, scheduling, directing and coordinating activities of Production Personnel
o Assist Supervisor in training and scheduling of Operators. Make recommendations in regards to Performance Appraisals of Production Personnel.
o Check broken, damaged or equipment not working properly with Supervisor before completing a Maintenance request form.
o Perform all required Quality checks and complete neatly and accurately all associated forms.
o Perform Web Check looking for all visual defects that can be seen.
o Expected to work Overtime beyond your normal work schedule.
Work Schedule:
Monday- Thursday 6PM-6AM, Hourly pay rate- $18-$26.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
