Intern, Corporate Development
The SunEdison Integration Center of Excellence (ICOE) is responsible for managing the integrations of new acquisitions into SunEdison. We work closely with a broad range of SunEdison department leadership - for example, IT, HR, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, etc. - and their respective counterparts in the acquired company to identify and capture synergies and value as each integration progresses.
We are a small and dynamic team with a critical mission and broad set of responsibilities in a quickly growing company. Our success is based upon an open, collaborative environment and each member's desire to ask questions, learn, and take on new tasks and challenges. As a team member, you will be exposed to a wide spectrum of SunEdison's functions and have the opportunity to learn about the company and integrations at the highest level.
The IMO Summer Intern will be responsible for:
Learning and understanding how each acquisition adds value to SunEdison, as well as the integration process for capturing this value
Tracking integration progress within departments
Coordinating integration activities between departments and the Integration Management Office (IMO) of respective acquisitions
Building integration reports in Excel and PowerPoint
Facilitating communication between the IMO and various departments, as well as workshops between departments
Identifying and communicating integration risks, opportunities, challenges, and mitigations strategies
Recording meeting notes and following-up with various departments on assigned action items
Work close with and assist the IMO project leads with day-to-day integration oversight activities
Required skills:
Curiosity and a desire to learn and work in a dynamic environment
An interest in the renewable energy industry
Excellent communication skills and adaptable to working with a wide range of individuals
Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
Well-organized and good time management skills
