Marketing agency in the Fox Valley (Elgin to Aurora/Naperville) seeks a Business Development Executive. Our goal is to bring in clients from small to medium sized businesses with our menu of services. Although in business a short time, we are part of a larger network of stable companies and this agency was borne out of a visible need for our services.
If you have a network of prospective clients in the area, enjoy the social aspects of networking and creating relationships, this could be the job for you.
The Role:
Establish and develop relationships with potential clients - with the goal to schedule meetings, deliver proposals and ultimately contract.
You'll be responsible for developing presentations and proposals - and presenting them
You'll be responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities through social media, email, marketing-blogs and more
You'll be responsible for supporting existing client relationships by providing service in an account management role
Qualifications:
Hungry for success!
Experience in an ad/marketing agency business or background
Strong communications skills - written and oral
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Solid foundation of contacts in the Fox Valley
Demonstrated comfort with social media
Confident sales skills - ability to cold call (in person and on phone)
Excellent presentation, public speaking and networking skills
Must have own transportation, as the role requires physical access to the entire Fox Valley community
This is an exciting opportunity for the person who loves to get out there, shake hands and make things happen. Compensation will include a base salary with the ability to make substantial quarterly bonuses.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
