BEST is searching for an experienced, driven and self-motivated individual to join our team of highly skilled fleet maintenance technicians.
Job Description
As a diesel tech, you'll report to the Maintenance Coordinator. Your main responsibility is to safely and efficiently maintain a varied fleet of equipment associated with our diverse group of trucking companies.
The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
Experience in troubleshooting and repairs involving the most recent technology
Electrical repair and diagnostics
Knowledge of FMCSA maintenance guidelines and regulations
Ability to adhere to established industry guidelines and norms
Basic computer skills
Prior trucking experience a plus
The ability to work independently of others
General knowledge of preventative maintenance for Class 8 Tractor Trailers
CDL a plus
