Motorcoach, Bus, Driver, Class B, Passenger, Operator
We are accepting applications for Motorcoach operator. We have a fleet of 46 Prevost motorcoaches throughout Florida with Terminals in Jacksonville, Ocala, Madison, and the corporate headquarters located in Sebring. We are really looking for part time (average 20 to 30 hours) a week to start. We generally start all drivers as part time, and if they work out and desire full time, we farm full time drivers from our part time.
This job is seasonal. Part time drivers that make themselves very available during our busy season (April through June) will accrue Paid Time Off, because often during that time of year you can work as much as our full time drivers. July through September is generally slow. October through March it is moderate. Throughout the year we are busiest from Friday through Sunday almost every weekend and expect you to make yourself available during this time.
You must complete a week long pass/fail, orientation/driving evaluation class at our corporate headquarters in Sebring to begin your 90 day probationary period with our company. We provide Hotel accommodations and pay hourly while in class and a Per Diem during the orientation period.
This is not a 9 to 5 job we are a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week operation with odd hours trips may start at 2 am or end at 2 am. There may be some multi day out of town trips required.
You must be at least 24 years old have a good MVR and no DUI (ever). Minimum CDL Class B with Passenger and Airbrake endorsements. You must be able to pass a D.O.T. Physical by our Nationally Registered company doctor. You must be able to pass a level 2 federal criminal background check (due to the Jessica Lundsford act). Pay is based on previous MOTORCOACH experience but qualified School bus and tractor trailer drivers with passenger endorsement are also encouraged to apply.
