Psychologist (SUD/PTSD)

This position is located within the Behavioral VA Care Line, with primary assignment to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Treatment Services.
The psychologist functions as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing comprehensive outpatient assessment and treatment to veterans, as well as clinical consultation and systemic consultation to allied clinicians and administrators.
The Post traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)/Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Psychologist serves as the subject matter expert in the area of PTSD and SUD for the PTSD Program.
Provides a full range of psycho-diagnostic services including assessment and using the most appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques in providing quality care.
Performs clinically indicated psychological evaluations on outpatient veterans with Post traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Provides a full range of therapeutic interventions including individual therapy, group therapy, and psycho-education classes for veterans with PTSD.
Best practices, practice guidelines and evidence-based treatment protocols are utilized to the extent feasible in all therapeutic interventions.
Staff psychologists may be involved in program evaluation and/or research activities.
Consults with medical center staff on a wide variety of patient care issues, specific to veterans with PTSD.
Provides clinical supervision to various disciplines and levels of training.
Involved in Psychology Training Program and Training Committee.
Provides leadership guidance and consultation to staff of units to which assigned.
Is involved in the training of medical students, medical and psychiatric residents, nursing students, fellows and other graduate or post-graduate trainees, as appropriate.
Other duties as assigned.
This position is located at the Batavia VA Medical Center.
Tour of Duty:
Monday - Friday (8:
00am to 4:
30pm), subject to change based on Agency needs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
