Die Designer - Full Time Permanent position the Newington/Berlin/Meriden, CT area

Salary Range : 70k to 90k range
1st Shift
Die Maker/Designer (or Equivalent) with strong background in estimating sheet metal stamping tooling and piece cost
Understand stamping process Background in tool and cost estimating
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Develop die layout
Type of die (Progressive Die, transfer die, etc.)
Determine number of stations required to build part
Component Teardown & Assembly BOM Development
Develop piece cost (Material, Labor, profit)
Develop tooling costs for sheet metal stamping and assembly
Attend customer meetings and customer cost reviews/audits
