Responsible for effective sales effort in an assigned territory, including developing new customer accounts, advising customers on service center capabilities and introducing new services to customers.
Please note the primary industries that we serve in order of size:
o Utilities (aka power generation - fossil power, hydro power, nuclear power, wind power)
o Petroleum & Chemical (aka Petrochem)
o Metals (aka Steel Mills)
o Mining (Mainly underground mining)
o Paper & Wood Products (Mainly paper mills)
o Other industries include glass, cement, aggregate, rubber
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
o Develop list of prospective customers with manager, determine appropriate sales strategy, call on customers and follow-up with additional visits and correspondence as appropriate.
o Analyze customer requirements and through familiarity with service center capabilities, develop and present proposals.
o For complicated customer modifications, coordinate the efforts of technical specialists for development of proposals. Presents proposals to customers.
o Establish long-term customer relationships utilizing sales techniques, policies and philosophies of the company, and service center capabilities.
o Consult with appropriate management on problems involving pricing, specifications, warranties and service adaptations
o Have thorough knowledge of competition in the marketplace and competitive bid situations. Report conclusions to service center manager.
BS Engineering or the equivalent experience.
A minimum of three to five years prior selling experience with similar product applications, preferable in a related industry.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
