Production Manager
An automotive tier I supplier is looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead and coach a team of Production Supervisors in the implementation of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma. In addition, they will oversee department employees and control the departments budget.
o Participate in problem solving and VAVE efforts
o Provide support and training to employees
o Insure fulfillment of the company's objectives
o Help define objectives and measure results
o Respond to customer issues
o Stop the production process in case there is a noncompliance issue
o Enforce quality standards and systems
This Production Manager will have the following experiences:
o A degree
o 5
in automotive manufacturing/operations leadership experience
o Six Sigma Certified (Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, Kaizen events)
o Must have experience with plastic injection molding
o Problem analysis and problem solving techniques
o Ability to develop actions to improve quality, cost, deliver and people development
o Environmental experience in a manufacturing setting
o SAP, MS Office
