Bookkeeper & Parts Manager
Bookkeeping Functions -
- Receive all incoming mail and sort (invoices must be categorized/sorted by vendor).
- Provide invoices for bill payment to owner
- Invoices need to be input into QuickBooks (Version 14)
- Review incoming invoices for accuracy
- Review paid invoices (owner pays invoices) to make sure no duplicate payments occur
- Research all problem invoices
- File all paid invoices (filing system established) - keep files up to date daily
Parts Manager Functions
- Have a good understanding of the generator parts that are inventoried (these SKUs are in QuickBooks)
- Keep an accurate inventory of parts in the warehouse (working with Operations Manager).
- Understand the concept of least cost shipping and the process of packaging parts (using Federal Express or USPS).
- Will need to learn Ship Station (Federal Express tool for shipping).
- Receive parts daily (M-F) into the warehouse (check these parts into QuickBooks - file all bills of Lading).
- Pick and package parts orders daily and coordinate shipment from facility with Federal Express and USPS.
- Track parts shipments to customers (enter tracking for all shipments into Big Commerce)
- Track incoming generator shipments (via copies of Bills of Lading - enter into QuickBooks and file ).
- Track outgoing generator shipments to customers (enter into Big Commerce) both direct shipments out of warehouse and drop ship orders from our OEM partners.
- Important Skills -
- Detail oriented
- Ability to follow directions
- Excellent organization skills
- Great knowledge QuickBooks/Excel
- Basic Accounting knowledge
- Dependable (be at work every day unless schedule vacation)
- Upbeat personality
- Hunger to learn and desire to work in and out of the box
- Knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Suite (primarily Excel)
- Typing skills must be above average for data entry
- Bonus - background in parts management
Must live within 20 miles of office in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
