Responsibilities:
Lead in all aspects of the development life cycle including design, development, unit testing and documentation
Basic design conception to production release and support
Base design decisions on the basis of performance, scalability, and future expansion
Determine implementation approach for new and existing business solutions
Responding, investigating and resolving various incidents related to the trading systems / tools
Manage time effectively with minimal supervision to accurately scope projects and ensure that projects release on-time
Provide technical support and technical advice regarding software implementation
Requirements:
Must have 6
years' development experience in a live/production environment using the following languages C#/.NET or Java J2EE (object-orientated programming & multithreaded programming)
Must have 2
years in C/C+
languages
Must have programming experience in ECN/Trading systems and/or Back-Office applications related to financial markets
Degree in computer science or closely related fields and/or equal experience
Experience developing/integrating FIX APIs a plus
Must be proficient with Databases/SQL (KDB+, Cassandra, MongoDB or MySQL a PLUS)
Must have experience in processing and analyzing big data
Web Development / HTML5 will be considered a plus
Self-motivated / Ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic
Meticulous attention to detail a must
Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Up to $150,000 (Depending On Experience)
