Cost Analyst:
direct hire / must have 8-10 years of related experience in similar role for manufacturing - this is a great opportunity with lots of avenues for career development and growth. Publically traded company with headquarters in N. Orange county, 12 manufacturing sites across US.
Provides Cost Accounting support in areas of product cost, cost projections , development of improved costing methodologies and system support for these areas. Additionally provide support for projects assigned by the Director Cost Accounting in support of Finance and other departments. Review and improve manufacturing cost systems for the processing, packaging and distribution activities. This includes recommending changes to our current costing systems. Review and recommend improvements to current monthly, quarterly, and annual cost activities and reports, including variance analysis for labor efficiency, materials usage/yields, and overhead spending and capacity utilization
