Part Time IT Help Desk Technician

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Receive and respond to Helpdesk requests clearly with a professional, pleasant
attitude
Update assigned tickets in the Helpdesk ticketing system
Provide end-user hardware and/or software support to retail locations and corporate offices both domestically and internationally
Maintain and troubleshoot network PC's, servers, printers, copiers, and other
hardware as well as LAN/WAN devices, including network switches and routers
Must have a familiarity with mobile devices, including iPhones/iPads
Prepare and configure computer equipment including installation of company software
and hardware
Receive, tag, and inventory all incoming and outgoing hardware and software
Prepare and distribute weekly Helpdesk ticketing reports
Be available after hours when scheduled on-call
Qualifications:
Written Communications- ability to correspond and communicate effectively with users at all levels of the organization
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7 and the Microsoft Office suite
Familiarity with Windows Server 2003, 2008, and SQL Server
Working knowledge of Office 365 Administration
Experience with Active Directory object management
Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including wireless networking
Experience with IBM i (AS400) Operations preferred
Experience with retail POS support
EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
Industry certifications and experience in a technical call center are a plus
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
English
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift up to 20 poundsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
