Junior Commercial Loan Officer
Description:
The Junior Commercial Loan Officer will work under the close supervision of the Team Leader and other Commercial Lending Officers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Function as primary contact with customers in assigned portfolio and serves as back-up contact with customers in Team Leader's portfolio.
Function as a Commercial Loan Officer while working with Loan Officers and Team Leader.
Prepare effective packages for credit approval circulation and to present packages to the required level of credit authority.
Follow past due payments and overdrafts.
Oversee proper handling of customers transactions such as advances, payments, wire transfers, etc.
Develop and maintain new business sources. Solicit new business as opportunities may arise from existing customers at business functions or through affiliations.
Required Skills:
Strong administrative skills with the ability to handle a small commercial loan portfolio.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
Intermediate PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Required
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of one year related experience.
Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred.
Community and/or industry involvement preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
