Job
Summary:
Under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator, this employee assists doctors in surgery as
needed and sees patients as scheduled. Regular attendance is an essential part of this job.
Essential Functions:
1. Assists in surgery as needed
2. Sees patients as scheduled
3. Triages patients prior to doctor examinations
4. Sutures lacerations as needed
5. Reduces fractures, applies casts as directed by doctor
6. Sees patients in the Emergency Room, consults as directed by doctor
7. Dictates information about patient visits
8. Writes therapy orders
9. Writes prescriptions (NPs only)
