Evening Manager - Sanford Region

Responsible for retail store operations during the evening hours making decisions impacting store associates, merchandise quality and presentation and the level of service offered to our customers. Ensure conditions involving security, safety, and food safety are consistently maintained at the highest levels.
oSupport the achievement of budgeted financial and operating results for an assigned Food Lion store
oServing as Manager on Duty, performing all of the responsibilities of the Store Manager when he or she is not present.
oAssisting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the entire store
oServing as a model for customer service and other vital behaviors and instills this value in all associates
oManaging and developing associates to ensure adherence to Standard Practices
oProviding leadership and motivation within the store to promote a culture reflective of Food Lion's
oGuiding Principles, Core Values and Vision
oMaximizing sales through excellent customer service and minimize shrink through proper utilization of Standard Practices
oManaging operation of assigned store and is responsible for providing direction and instruction to all store associates in the absence of the Store Manager.
oEnsuring aisle conditions and presentation are maintained.
oMonitoring shrink and ensuring that inventory and moneys are accounted for; provides coaching for associates to recognize and prevent losses.
oUnderstanding and utilize Average Cost Inventory System (ACIS).
oEnsuring store conditions, customer service and satisfaction, product quality, freshness, availability, variety and execution of all policies and procedures.
oEnsuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations
oEnsuring that staffing schedules across departments meet the business needs
oInteracting constantly with associates; ensure associates understand Food Lion's expectations and have the tools and training to be successful.
oAdhering to all company guidelines, policies and standard practices.
oSuccessfully complete Computer Based Training (CBT) and Training Aid courses
oRetail Associate Training and Development
Basic
Qualifications:
oHigh School Graduate or equivalent preferred
oDepartment Manager Experience Required
oAverage Cost Inventory System (ACIS) Knowledge
oBroad Operational Knowledge
oCustomer Oriented Market Knowledge
oAsset Utilization and Cost Control Knowledge

-Ability and availability to work evening shifts. Some weekends are requiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
