Embedded Software Engineer
Job Description
Major purpose:The successful candidate(s) will possess:
o Must hold active Secret clearance
o Must be willing to work onsite at the L-3 CSE Camden, NJ office
o U.S. Citizenship Required
o Must have a deep understanding of the Linux kernel
o Proficiency includes a detailed knowledge and understanding of IPsec, including XFRM on Linux
o Strong background in embedded programming and network programming
o Proficient with C programming
o Proficient with gdb debugging
Major functions:
Technical/Functional skills:Experience in the following areas would be considered highly beneficial:
o Experience with strongSwan
o Knowledge and understanding of IKE
o Experience with BitBake (Yocto)
o Experience with Understand for C/C++
o Experience using Git / stash
o Proficient with Wind River Linux- but other Linux distributions will suffice
o Cryptographic Hardware and its capabilities, Board Support Packages, and Device Driver concepts and implementation
Experience in the following areas would be considered beneficial:
o Experience with OMAP (preferably OMAP3730, though OMAP 3550, or BeagleBoard experience)
o Experience with TI Code Composer Studio
o Experience with TI biosEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
