POSITION OVERVIEW

The Applications and IT Analyst will be responsible for all IT related technologies and systems. Test related equipment, maintenance, development, and documentation fall within the Application and IT Analyst responsibilities. In addition, the Application and IT Analyst will support sales, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality in the effort to improve processes, reduce cost, improve efficiency, and increase quality throughput.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

IT responsible for all desktop and server support
Available for new project implementation including training
Inventory all IT systems, software, and hardware
Manage the back-up and safety of our IT infrastructure
Test Fixture Maintenance and Set-up, Development, and Documentation
Developing documentation to operate and test product.
Build and sustain secondary test fixtures to support volume work
Proactively provide maintenance and support with test fixtures (ensure they are functioning properly prior to production)
Rapidly provide support between company and the customer for all test related issues (solve all issues within 1 business day)
Support the NPI processes by providing support for build configuration and test creation.
Employee Training for Special Business Systems
Develop and sustain training programs for software products such as MS Office, Custom Programs, SharePoint, and Business Processes
Automate and Improve Processes and Business Systems
Audit current business policy and procedures based to identify areas to automate
Support 5S / Lean through the production facility focusing on eliminating waste, standardizing and sustaining processes, facility appearance, and employee safety.
Support manufacturing and quality to improve product processes that reduce cost, improve process efficiency, and increases quality throughput.
Product Configuration Management and Support
Support the ECR, TDR, and BID processes by facilitating the various functional areas of the business through the process.
Compile and maintain customer documentation, work instructions, supplier design files, and configuration files.
Serve as the design vault and gatekeeper for all technical documents.
Read and understand Gerber Files, DWG's, DXF's, and Bill of Materials.
Support sales and purchasing and serve as a technical liaison between the customers, supplier partners, and company with product configuration, component detail, and incoming inspection.
Available for special programs delegated by management

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Associated degree in electronics or technical related field. Bachelor's degree is preferred however it may be supplanted with relevant 3-5 years in electronics process or electronics technical related field.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Production and Electronics -- Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. Understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Critical Thinking -- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates -- Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.

Active Learning -- Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making. This includes keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.

Engineering and Technology -- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
