Learning production engineering and production control by observation and attending classes or courses;
Working as a technician within the coatings department;
Learning Kanban and various processes used to control inventory and costs;
Learning the Quality functions and working with the Quality departments resolving customer issues or concerns.
Education: 4-year engineering degree required.
Required Skills:
An internship or co-op learning experience in a manufacturing environment;
Automotive experience is a plus;
Skills in data analysis, problem solving, planning and organization;
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
