Our Client in the Inland Empire needs an Sr. Information Security Analyst for a Contract to Hire position.
Those authorized to work in the US without sponsorship will be considered. Client is not able to sponsor at this time.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computers Science, Computer Information Systems, etc.
Minimum five years of hands on I.T. Security related experience
Capable of performing in different OS desktop/server environments (UNIX, Linux, Windows)
EDUCATION DESIRED
CISSP, or other Security related certifications
Cisco certifications
CCNP/CCIE Security certification required minimum.
DESIRED SKILLS
Able to work as a team members.
Proficient in written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access and Project)

years of experience with at least 6 years direct PCI level 1 audit experience (meaning name is on the PCI ROC.)
Current hands on experience with Cisco ASA or Juniper, Cisco FWSM, HP Tipping Point, Nexpose Rapid7, CISCO ISE and CSACS, NetMRI, Opsware Network Automation, Redseal, Fireeye NX, EX, and HX, Redline, OpenDNS, SSL/IPsec VPN, Tibco LogLogic, Metaspoit, Gigamon, Wireshark, OPNET, F5 BigIP-ASM/LTM and general routing and switching with an emphasis on ACLs, AAA, 802.1x, DMVPN, BGP and EIGRP. Perl, Python, and Tcl experience preferred.
Extensive experience in regulatory compliances and remediation for PCI, VISA (Key Management), Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPAA.
Proficient with performing risk assessments, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing for network, application and operating systems.
Familiar with encryption and key management.
Extensive knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Unix/Linux, Application, Cisco and router security auditing.
Hands-on experience with Unix, Linux, Macintosh OS X, Current Windows Operating Systems and Servers and Mainframe.
Familiar with SQL, Oracle, Database Administration, Perl, shell scripting, HTML & PHP.
Clear understanding of security tools such as antivirus, malware, patching, file integrity monitoring, etc.
Troubleshooting, forensic investigation and problem solving for technical and non-technical network and security related issues.
Familiar with Role Based Access, operating system and application security.
Information Security Policies, Procedures, Standards, Guidelines, Education & Awareness.
Able to be self-managed with minimal direction.
Proven experience with project management.
Able to be creative and think outside of the box, troubleshoot and perform investigations.
Have an understanding how all of the various tools, systems and technologies tie in together related to security and functionality.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
