Qualifications:
Knowledge and Skills:
Working knowledge of the following:
Designing and documenting HA network environments using Visio and Excel
Layer3 Protocols VRRP, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IGMP, PIM, MPLS, NAT and PBR
Switching and configuration options (VLAN, VTP, IGMP Snooping, STP)
Must have strong LAN and WAN troubleshooting skills including a solid understanding of network security
Cisco hardware (ASR9k, Nexus7k,7600,4900M,4948)
Cisco software (IOS,IOS-XR,NXOS)
Multicast ( PIM, IGMPv2 and v3 Auto-RP)
Network Management Systems (Opsware, Splunk, SevOne, Cacti, and Netscout)
Network Applications (DNS,DHCP,TFTP,FTP,SMTP,LDAP,HTTP,and NTP)
Good technical writing skills a must.
Advanced troubleshooting ability including Wireshark.
Ability to work well under pressure.
High level of follow through.
Ability to work as a team player.
Knowledge of Windows based operating systems.
Knowledge of Unix operating systems.
Knowledge of F5 Load Balancers and Checkpoint Firewalls a plus.
Scripting languages a plus. ( Perl, CGI, Java and PHP)
Experience:
Previous 5
years experience on multiple Network hardware platforms (Cisco, or equivalent )
Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge is a must.
Experience with network and system management software.
Experience with handheld test tools.
Experience with Internet applications.
Experience with working as part of a team to collect data to use to resolve issues or outages.
Previous skill set with troubleshooting outages while under pressure.
Education:
Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or equivalent work experience is required.
Other:
Flexible working hours, 24 hour on call systems support. Ability to work during maintenance windows.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
