Holy Rosary's Health Center, a member of the $2.3 billion net revenue SCL Health, serves the people across an 11 country area of eastern Montana through our 25-bed acute care hospital, 84-bed extended care facility and 16-physician clinic - all housed in a single building on a beautiful, 58-acre campus.
Right now we're seeking a VP of Patient Care Services, reporting to the CEO, to coordinate and oversee all aspects of nursing care delivery and related clinical services for the Health Center. In conjunction and in collaboration with others, you'll have direct, major responsibility for nursing and clinical quality, medical staff relationships, human resources leadership of direct departments, and the financial performance of the division. You'll also ensure that the delivery of health services within Holy Rosary Healthcare is in congruence with the mission and values of the SCL Health.
Requirements include RN licensure in the state of MT, a BSN coupled preferably with Master's degree in Business, Health, Public Administration, Nursing or health-related field, plus at least five years of executive-level experience in a hospital or related environment. Additionally, you'll possess the following:
Broad knowledge of the fundamentals of hospital organization, administration, patient care operations and a functional knowledge of the technology and key drivers of each assigned department.Broad knowledge of collective bargaining organizations and issues.
Broad knowledge of the field of medicine and detailed knowledge of nursing and delivery of nursing care.
Ability to develop direct reports, build a cohesive team and appropriately reward and recognize performance.
Strong interpersonal skills in order to interact effectively with superiors, peers, direct reports and customers.
