Due to business expansion, our Client seeks an experienced Office Professional for a LONG-TERM, full-time, on-going assignment with an indefinite end date!As a member of the Mergers and Acquisition Technology Center team this individual will provide project support for managerial level individuals (Project Leaders).
The position is very project oriented and involves working with many company functions and businesses on a global scale.
Confidentiality of these transactions is critical.
During the due diligence phase of the divestiture process, an internal review of the assets to be sold is conducted and a data room is prepared for interested parties/buyers to conduct their own due diligence.
Documents are collected and stored on the M&A Tech Center's secure file server which describe and characterize the divestiture offering.
The documents are reviewed to determine if any confidential information should be redacted.
Data collected and presented to potential buyers in a data room must be auditable, thoroughly validated and generated on a consistent and replicable basis.
Inaccurate, incomplete or misleading data could create grounds for a claim by the potential buyer.
The incumbent will be responsible for providing and managing the access for the project team to these secure servers.
The incumbent is responsible for reviewing documents to make sure they have the proper disclaimers on them and are formatted labeled and numbered properly.
All documents prepared for the electronic data room need to be converted into PDF format.
Proper preparation of data room material ensures a successful efficient due diligence by the potential buyers and contributes to a timely negotiation process and deal resolution.
The incumbent will also be responsible for providing and managing access to team members and buyers to the project documents which are hosted in an external hosting environment called IntraLinks.
This individual will also upload documents into the IntraLinks environment and set the buyer and Company access according to direction from the Project Leader and run reports as requested.
The incumbent will work with external companies to schedule meetings with the team, communicate meeting content, manage attendees and third party attendance as well as rescheduling to achieve the desired attendance.
At times, the volume of work and stress level can be high.
Ability to plan work but also be flexible to changes will be necessary.
The incumbent will work on more than one project at a time.
Due to the project nature of this role and the interaction with companies, it is likely that overtime will be required.
At times, this overtime may be substantial.
There will also be support for creating presentations/documents in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, as well as working with web based project management tools.
