Human Resources Manager
HR Manager-Great Opportunity! Kelly Services is currently seeking a HR Manager for one of our top clients in Wilkes Barre, PA.
As a HR Manager placed with Kelly Services, you will be part of a leading global food company in your area.
As part of the HR Operations team, HR Managers will provide outstanding HR support to the Wilkes Barre Customer Service Operations Centre.
They will deliver against the strategies and programs as determined by the functional HRBLs and COEs ensuring that the strategies are embedded in their sites culture and become an employee owned program vs HR program.
HR Managers will drive consistent policy and process application and are responsible for ensuring flawless execution of all HR programs.
In addition, the HR Manager has a significant role in leading major change efforts involving, amongst other things engagement, culture, capability building and structure consistent with high performance work systems.
Skills and Experience to perform this role:
1.
Five years HR functional work experience at a managerial level 2.
Knowledge of Customer Service Operations is an asset 3.
Bachelor's Degree in HR Management or other related field 4.
Ability to deal with ambiguity- can comfortable handle risk and uncertainty; doesn't get upset when things are up in the air; deals effectively with change and shifts gears appropriately 5.
Managerial Courage - takes a position and stands by it; provides direct, actionable feedback; is not afraid to take negative action when necessary 6.
Interpersonal Savvy - Relates well to all kinds of people in organization; builds and leverages relationships; can diffuse high-tension situations effectively 7.
Serve as a core member of the leadership team, managing the delivery of HR initiatives for the Site in the areas of Employee Relations and Performance Management, Engagement, Coaching/Guidance, and Communications.
