ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client in seminole, FL has an immediate need for a hard-working, efficient Full Charge Bookkeeper with 1-3
years of experience using quickbook accounting software. Previous experience calculating sales tax is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BOOKKEEPER:
oCalculate payroll tax
oThe Bookkeeper will verify, allocate, and post details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts to general ledger.
oPerform AP, AR, and billing responsibilities.
oSummarize details in separate ledgers and transfer data to general ledger.
oReconcile and balance accounts.
oCompile reports to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business.
oCalculate employee wages from records and prepare checks for payment of wages.
oPrepare withholding, Social Security, and other tax reports.
oGenerate monthly statements to customers.
oComplete records to or though trial balance.
Requirements
Bookkeeper
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE BOOKKEEPER ROLE:
o2-3
years of Full Charge Bookkeeping experience using quickbooks accounting software
oProven ability to calculate company sales tax
oAttention to detail
oFlexibility and willingness to learn the company's unique business and accounting system
oExcellent written and verbal communication skills
oExcellent time management skills
