SUMMARY
The SLP provides patient assessment, care planning, direct treatment and consultation to a general rehab caseload in single or multiple sites. Participates in the clinical team process and is involved in clinical program development. The SLP provides teaching and training to caregiver staff. Supervises other licensed therapists, assistants, rehab aides, and students as required. May provide additional administrative duties as assigned.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, and Professional Licensure where required by state law, two years clinical experience preferred; CFY Considered
Demonstrates effective verbal and written communications skills
Demonstrates ability to utilize independent and effective clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers
Utilizes effective time management skills
Demonstrates strong organizational and analytical skills
Must have the ability to lead and motivate subordinates
Ability to drive and have a current state driver's license
Current CPR CertificationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
