Purpose and Description:
We would still like to have someone come and sit in our department to work on our Access database(s).
We have a resident database that houses our 233 current residents information and 2404 alumni residents information.We also have a separate database for our rotating residents and medical students.
We need to have this database divided or somehow be able to differentiate medical students (and what year they are - 3rd or 4th year, etc.), and rotating resident (and what year they are - PGY 4, 5 or 6).
Daily
Responsibilities:
Meet with staff regarding databases, as needed; work on the databases - saving existing data, redesigning the databases, tables and reports, based on the end user needs, as well as the person(s) inputting the data.
Education
High school diploma or GED required
College degree preferred.
Required Experience and skills:
Must know Access Database programming
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with our staff/end users on what is needed within the database
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information housed in these databases.
Desired Skills:
Must have Access database programming experience.
We want this person to be comfortable with Access database, able to revamp a current database or possibly create a complete new database that will support 15 - 20 end users.
Healthcare experience would be a plus.
