Position
Summary:
The Clinical Quality Program Admin is responsible for overseeing the quality improvement activities/projects as outlined in the QI work plan and as required by applicable law, regulations and accreditation standards. This consultant will be dedicated to NCQA preparation
Hours for this Position:
Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00pm

What We Look For:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in health administration, nursing or a related field and 3 years of health care quality or data analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Candidates here can be a nurse or a QA/QI Manager in the healthcare space. A healthcare professional specializing in QA/QI and overall quality control or Office Managers in the healthcare space specializing in business improvement and quality assurance

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLIITIES:
Ensures integration of quality into the overall business process. Performs assessments to identify gaps in the enterprises quality and technology assessment processes and initiates actions to correct these gaps. Assures accuracy and completeness of input provided to internal and external QI committees and timely implementation of appropriate interventions to effect improvement. Oversees the clinical quality improvement activities/projects to implement appropriate clinical interventions to improve the quality of care for members. Assures compliance with corporate QI work plans. Assures that all QI activities are relevant to the needs of targeted population. Assures compliance to Practice Guideline, Delegation and Continuity and Coordination of care Standards. Maintains effective documentation of research programs to meet regulatory and Accreditation Standards Provides oversight to assure accurate and complete quantitative analysis of clinical data, presentation of results of data analysis. May provide oversight to the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) project team.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Responsible for management of the accreditation and coordination of the project plan as well as the creation, presentation, and communication of all reports and findings from this project for all internal business leaders from various clinical departments and other business partners
Strong knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Improvement
Strong phone skills and computer skills
Ability to speak with all types of personalities
Detail oriented
V2014Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
