Amino Transport Inc., is a privately owned freight brokerage company with 9 offices located in Dallas TX, Hurst TX, Stafford TX, San Antonio TX, Amarillo TX, St. Louis MO, Brighton MI, Scottsdale AZ and Birmingham AL. We are committed to helping our customers--multiple shippers and manufacturers in every industry-- grow by facilitating the movement of their products, whether full truckload or LTL, and managing their supply chains. We are currently looking for a highly detail oriented and organized LTL Customer Service Representative to join our team in our office in Brighton, MI.
Responsibilities
Quoting, scheduling and coordinating pickups for clients
Develop relationships with clients to be able to meet and exceed needs and expectations
Develop relationships with our carriers who are just as important as our shipping customer
Provide freight management and tracking on in-transit shipments
Use wide variety of computer software applications to perform the job function
Must address carrier issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year office environment experience required
Must be flexible, highly detail oriented and be able to multitask
Self-starter and team player attitude
Excellent written and verbal skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Heavy administrative skills
Knowledge of the trucking industry a plus but not required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
