Responsibilities include;
o Ensuring the end quality of the final part going out the door to the customer is to Blue print specifications.
o Ensuring that all operators in the cells are fully trained on how to run their job, efficiently, effectively, and productively. And ensuring that the operators totally understanding of what is required of them to do their job during working hours.
o Ensuring paperwork that goes on the final product containers are correct and completed.
o Ensuring paperwork that is required hourly by the cell is completed and is correct.
o Ensuring that Line Leader / or yourself is available to work overtime when the cell is needed to work overtime.
o The Supervisor needs to report any machine breakages to Maintenance / Foreman.
o The Supervisor needs to report any quality issues to Quality Manager.
o The Supervisor will need to communicate to the other shift Line Leaders, by note or by talking to the other Line Leaders of what issues/ concerns have occurred or would potentially occur in the cell during their shift or for the next shift.
o Ensuring that the area is cleaned up of all debris and or scrap.
o Ensure that all scrap is properly recorded. This would include if parts are actually scrap or not. If not then parts would need to be reworked and tagged as such.
o Ensuring that any re-workable parts are reworked and completed and taken care of by the end of their shift, by repairing the parts yourself or ensuring Line Leaders have taken care of the scrap, and or instructing a person on how to repair their own parts.
o Ensure Downtime is properly recorded, how long was cell down, (machine) why was it down, who repaired or fixed the cell (machine). Ensuring that the maintenance man signs the down time.
o Ensuring any sorting that needs to be completed is done correctly, all personal knows what they are sorting for and that all tags and hours and personal is recorded properly on the correct paperwork and that the paperwork is completed and turned in.
o YOU WILL NEED TO MEASURE PARTS using Attribute Gaging, Optical Comparator, micrometers, calipers, height gage.
o Report any issues with employees to Quality Manager.
o Must be able to pass a drug test and have a clean background
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
