Senior Java Web Application Developer
Are you a senior-level Java enterprise web application developer looking for a new team? If so and you enjoy full life cycle development and working on prototypes in addition to development we may have just the position for you. As a developer on this team you'll be responsible for design development, coding, testing, and debugging new software or significant enhancements to existing software for customers. To work with technical staff to understand problems with software and develop specifications to resolve them. To resolve customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements from third party customers. To participate in the development of software user manuals. To act as team leader on less complex projects. To assist in training less experienced software development staff. This position will commit to fostering an environment of heightened security following Information Technology Security Policies and participating in security training, such as Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), on an annual basis.
Requirements:

years of Java and Java EE Technologies Development experience required
6
years of experience in Java-based containers including installation, configuration and deployment is required
4
years of experience in Spring framework, RESTful web services, iBatis or Hibernate is required
2
years of experience in Rapid Application Development frameworks - Groovy/Grails, Play, Ruby/Rails is required
3
years of experience in Oracle SQL technologies and the ability to analyze data via SQL queries is required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field and 4 years of related experience required.
Preferred Skills:
2
years of experience in JavaScript, AJAX, JavaScript Frameworks - JQuery, JQuery Mobile and AngularJS is preferred
Knowledge of HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS, JSP, XML, Standard Web Design tools is preferred
Knowledge of Liferay Portal enterprise web development platform is preferred
Knowledge of web infrastructure, including LDAP, Web Servers, IP networking, and firewalls
Knowledge of Identity Management, SSO, CAS, SAML, OAuth 2.0 is a plus
3
years of experience in iterative software development methodologies including Agile or Scrum and familiarity with leading or participating in sprints, backlog management and daily standups is desirable

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
