SIU Case Manager
Risk Services Company based in Destin, Florida. The SIU Case Management position provides nationwide SIU services for insurance carriers, third party administrators, and Insureds. Our case managers have extensive experience in fraud detection, fraud referrals, investigations, prosecution and insurance claims.We work closely with insurance adjusters, investigators and claims managers.
The SIU Case Manager will direct investigative SIU work for major insurance carriers, TPA's and Insureds. Our candidate must have significant SIU and insurance investigative experience and be specifically familiar with workers' compensation claims, commercial auto, general liability and premium fraud. The ideal candidate will be experienced as an SIU Manager or Senior SIU Investigator while bringing the necessary skill set to this position. Duties will include reviewing incoming assignments, managing investigations and communicating daily with adjusters and claims managers. Applicants must have strong written, proofreading, communication and organizational skills. Proficient computer skills with experience in Microsoft applications and data management software are required.
The candidate will:
Maintain assigned claims files in a confidential manner; documents all relevant facts in the claims handling system
Maintain technical competency within area of specialization by participation at insurance fraud seminars and company-sponsored courses
Direct SIU investigative work and Prepare fraud referrals and litigation summaries in all states
Maintain rapport with federal, state, and local agencies
Successful managers must have substantial working knowledge of SIU operations, claims handling, insurance policies, legal issues, fraud investigation techniques and experience involving large loss claims. Expertise in multistate laws, regulations and civil recovery is a plus.
